Have you folks ever tried "Gelato"? It is in one word - Heaven! While I was in DC, my nieces , their Aunts, Mother and I were roaming around the zoo and after a long hard day of scoping out the wildlife, we treated ourselves to some of this creamy, refreshing goodness!
Gelato means "Frozen" in Italian and originated from Italy. Gelato has less air than ice cream making it denser and more flavorful. It is made with less milk fat than ice cream and therefore has less calories! We love checking out all places yummy and hope that next time you are looking for a summer treat, you try some Gelato instead of ice cream.
