It has come to my attention that having a blog isn't really effective unless you actually write on it (go figure...), so sorry about that! We now vow to actually post "stuff" we deem "worthy and entertaining" to be seen or read by you, Joe Plummer...I mean Joe Public, on a regular basis from now on....
So in case you have been wondering what "awesomeness" the yummy goodness team has been up to since June, well let me just tell you....it's been pretty busy. We successfully did our first wedding cake and it looked amazing! (as if it could be anything else.)
I believe the bride was very pleased.

Here is the groom's cake in the shape of the happy couple's cat!

Then for a 16 year-old's birthday party...we crafted a truly unique sports cake

Tennis Anyone?
July kept us busy with some various projects including my Dad's birthday cake, which is truly spectacular...even Mets fans would have to agree! Just look at its stunningness!!!
In September, we created our first "Meat Cake"....now calm down folks, it wasn't meat-flavored, cause that would just be plain gross...it was a cake in the shape of a meat product in honor of our friend BEEF's birthday...

October was pretty crazy if I do say so myself. Not only did we enter the state fair with our Halloween cake....

...but we also sold cupcakes at the Purgason's/HorsePower fundraiser,

(That's Liz on the right...she helped me out in loo of Katie that day)
made Halloween cupcakes for various parties,

made our first-ever TOPSY-TURVY CAKE (to be prounounced in a loud-accented announcer voice...why you ask? cuz it's just more fun that way),

and two cakes in the shape of A) a vibrant Dump Truck with dirt in it!

and B) a 1932 Chevy,complete with whitewall tires!

but we also made a gargoyle birthday cake that only a true goth-fan could appreciate!

Just thought we would fill you in on the latest!!! Happy Baking Folks! and oh yeah!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!
